Re: Rear BMW top case
I'm just looking for the stock plate as it includes a bit of a bracket that connects the side bag cases and provides what appears to be a horizontal surface to screw the R1200RT plate into. Dunno yet as I just got the stock plate ordered off of ebay. Now, if I can just find the RT bracket... Wish I ...

Re: Rear BMW top case
I'm looking to do something similar with a 49L top case from my totaled R1200RT. It will be huge but useful if the miss goes on a trip! Going to by a R1150R top plate to get the side brackets and then will try to locate the RT top plate and try to join the two...

Re: Backrest/Topcase opinions
I like going with a top box (rear case, tail bag) over a back rest as it gives my wife a place to put her stuff. Plus, I can take it off pretty easy when I want a clean look. This is from my experience on an R1200RT. Now that I have a Rockster, I'm just starting to look for a tail bag since she just...

Re: BAMM!!! Rockster T-Bone
I T-Boned a Kia Sportage, not my fault, with my R1200RT (6 months old). I suspect that I hit her at 25-30 mph. Ended up breaking a fork, damaged many plastic parts, and I expect bent the teleleaver (amongst many other things not visable to the naked eye). $17,000 to fix it. Needless to say, it was '...

Re: Anyone fitted Bar-backs/Risers to the Rockster?
I picked up a set of MV risers and love them. Due to their design, you can move them in a 2" radius from the original position. 2" back, 2" up, or 2" diagnoal up. They are a bit bulky but it's a fair trade for the adjustability. Plus, my GPS hides them anyway. http://www.mv-motor...
