Re: +Changing oil on R1150 RT
Darius, i have a question on your very good description on oil change. When you say counter clockwise, shouldn't it be then from 6 to 3 rather than clock wise from 6 to 9? Please let me know thank you

Why would leaving the bike on the side stand increase oil usage?

Re: Corbin seat - about to pull the trigger
I got myself a Sargent seat. Had to wait five weeks for it. I am very happy with it. I popped it right in. No problem. Very comfortable. I can do miles and miles on it. I did not order the back seat as i always ride solo.

Re: Anyone tried the "sparky" highway pegs ?
I installed some pegs on my r1150r. Very helpfull in keeping my old legs from cramping on me on long trips. They allow me to move my legs from the normal ride position to a more relaxed leg position and then back again.

Re: Weird Affect When Hauling the A$$
I know I have had a lot of problem recently because the quality of the fuel. I mean, pouring alcohol into gasoline for 10% composition (Florida Law)does not for high octane make. So it would seem to me to be an octane thing. I am now adding an octane booster and the bike seems to work better.

If trafic behind me gets impatient i then go into second gear and as soon as the bike's wheels start ...

Owners manual, how to manual
I own a new (for me) 05 R1150R. It is my first Beemer and after reading the spline clutch problems I hope that in the future I'll not have reason to regret my purchase. I have owned Hondas (4) and Harley (2) in the past with out any major problems. I did not receive an owners guide from the seller w...
