My parents live in Kerrville so I can attest to the quantity of great riding in the area. One thing to watch for, LEO's are more than few and far between as the riding traffic grows from word of mouth. The 330's loop is great riding but can be dangerous due to blind corners, small boulders falling f...

Well, I'm on an '02 GS Adventure with my previous bike being an SV650 standard but I have a family member with an R and have ridden that numerous times. The two major advantages of the GS are comfort on long hauls and ability to carry a bit more stuff(can mount Jesse bags without scraping the ground...

Can't remember for sure but I think that a couple of the crush washers are the same. You can probably reuse them if this is the first time to change those fluids. If you get the "kit" when you buy an oil filter from the shop, it'll come with all the washers you need along with an extra one...

You go down quickly. That's the truth. I low sided last week coming out of a parking lot on new/cold tires. First time I've had a tire spin up and not hook back up. Before I knew it, I was on my ass next to the bike. Happened so quick, I still had my hand on the throttle while on the ground next to...

Problem is, they've named it a Ninja and because of that insurance will probably be outrageous. The one of many things nice about the SV650 I used to have is insurance was reasonable for a bike that was so much fun to ride.

With the the wheel off, I can turn the speedo gear with my finger and make the speedometer jump so I don't think that's broken but when I put the wheel back on and spin, the needle doesn't move. For what ever reason, I guess the speedo gear isn't making contact with the toothed ring on the wheel :?:...

Need A Bit Of Help - Speedo Not Working After Re-Installing

My question is - How does the plastic speedo gear(two notches) match up with the two notches on the metal ring in the hub? I've obviously got it wrong. Now, I do for sure have the speedo housing recess lined up with the notch in the fork correctly upon installing the front axle so that's not it. FYI...
