Taosports - From your photo, it looks like the piece of cutting board is wider than the plastic rack. Does it fit in the rails for the plastic rack and use the same bolt holes? Perhaps a picture of the underside of the mount would help. My real question is how the cutting board can be larger than th...

Check out the 250 PSI Mini Air Compressor sold by Harbor Frieght. It weighs only 1.4 lbs and is small enough to carry in the space just under the tank that you access when removing the seat. HarborFreight.com
The cost is $9.99!

Dana, I use the Aerostitch vest and it works well. The only feature I have some doubt about is the collar. It is "wired" so you get heat to your neck, but at the same time it adds bulk in the neck area that makes it more difficult to turn your head. I don't have the thermostat, but there i...

I am currently trying the BMW High Windshield and will install some Saeng edging tonight, which should help. Without it, I would have to go back to the Touring Shield and Laminar Lip. Fugly, but very effective at elinimating noise and buffeting.

MRB -

A good safety upgrade as far as I am concerned is to swap the K-RS mirrors for the R's stock mirrors. The field of vision expands condiderably.

I installed Verholen bar backs, machined in Germany. Verholen makes bar backs/risers for many BMW models and they always match the finish of the bars on the model on which they will be installed. They look like they are original equipment and are not too pricey.

Lasik

I had a great deal of astigmatism and had the procedure in my late 50's. It was successful and I am pleased with it. However, the cutting edge today in this area is lens replacement. It is more expensive and it's availability is not as widespread as lasik, but results in perfect vision for close up ...

The key to calming this tempest, it seems to me, is for everyone to heed Doug's request that we "just post correctly," and for Doug to restate more clearly what the rules are. Doug, there is good faith confusion over what is permissible to post in the R1150R forum. Dallara's post about a H...

Signal Minder

HiOSilver-- With the new version of the signal minder, and maybe the original, the turn indicators will flash momentarily if you press and hold the paddle for a second or two. Very nifty. Also, you can set the control so that the turn signal indicators become running lights, and you can choose diffe...
