throttle sticking...

...methinks the cables might need replacing. definitely no interference from the bar end weight.

anybody go through this exercise? get manual. get parts. install. synch throttle bodies. its that simple, right?

baie dankie, acacia. very helpful info. i always stress about oil temps around this time of the year... obviously not enough to add a gauge. as long as the roads are clear i hazard the commute on the bike; sub freezing temps, 12 mile run at highway speeds... i always wonder if the bike truly gets up...

not having the benefit of an oil temp gauge, i'm trying to figure out at what ambient temps should i consider blocking the oil coolers with cardboard, rags or some such...

That's a great idea. What driving lights are those? I really like the PIAA 1100's, I'll prolly try to mount those there and see how it works. that they be... mated to an autoswitch (http://www.autoswitch.com/). solder your connections or you'll be redoing them somewhere down the line... damhik! :?

Does anybody know what type of mounts insanehussain has in these pics? no mounts! just drilled into and bolted on the oil cooler shrouds. i prefer the lower mounts with a slightly downward bias on the beam angle, allows me to run them on virtually all the time without blinding oncoming traffic. the...
