Well after a long Winter today I was able to get out for a long ride and evaluate my new subject screen. I will say that for me the trophy screen is perfect solution for me. I'm am 5'9" (on a good day) and the wind hits me just below my helmet, and best of all the screen is quite unlike the BWM...

My relatively new R with Givi E21 luggage and the high screen. Used the high screen only once and for me at 5'9" it didn't work as well as I would have liked. Going to sell the high screen.

It takes a strong pull to remove. I made a 'special tool' with a strong coat hanger end that hooks underneath the cover on the bottom to pull the cover off. I would recommend holding a cloth or something over the cover when you remove it so it doesn't fly off and get scuffed. Ask me how I know this....

I live in Chicago and all I do is fill the tank full of fresh fuel, wash the bike, put the bike on center stand and connect the trickle charger. The bike will easily store this way for 6 months. Some people add stabil or whatever, but honestly todays fuel doesn't go bad that quick.

You can take the racks off in less than a minute with the quick release mounts leaving little evidence of the rack mounts.
