Re: Bike stalls after letting go of the throttle
HI Silvio, I once had a similar problem to your description. It was found to be an intermittent failure of the potentiometer located on the left manifold. It is part of the throttle circuitry. The problem did not occurred after replaced that potentiometer.

Re: Transceiver antenna mount on R1200R
I'm one...been N0DC since the mid-70's. I do use a half-wave antenna in answer to the other post. I run the FTM-10R with an Autocom, but would prefer to go to a directly wired headset. Have tried a couple and the noise cancelling properties are pretty poor. I have also tried a couple of bluetooth a...

Transceiver antenna mount on R1200R
Hello, just like to know if anyone of you guys had a transceiver setup on your R1200. I like to get some idea on mounting the antenna. My radio set is the Yaesu FTM-10R, and the antenna is Diamond NR-760H. Thanks in advance.

Re: What is a good price for a new R12R with these options?
Mark, I thought its a pretty good deal. I just got my Alpine White last Saturday which I'd ordered back in July. For singapore dollars 35,000 (Sin to Aus exchange is close to 1 I think) I have these: Heated Grips - No Stainless Steel Exhaust (not Chrome) - Yes On-board Computer - Yes Anti-lock Brake...

Re: R1200R Color Poll
When I placed my order for a unit of crystal grey back in July, I was told that color has been discontinued. instead what was offered to me was this blue or the white. I would imagine the white would look far better than the blue.

Re: Another R1200R on the way
It seems I'm not able to get my bike in Crystal Grey color after all. My dealer told me today that BMW obsoleted that color, and offered 2 more - the alpine white and something blue. I checked the website and see the alpine white is now added in to the color scheme but not the blue. And I do not see...

Re: Another R1200R on the way
Hello ChiTown,
For USD 25,560, the bike will come equipped with ABS, TPC, ASC, OBC, center stand, panniers. How much are paying over there in United States? Do you have the ESA option on your bike. Is this feature really useful? I mean how often would you adjust the suspensions setting?

Another R1200R on the way
You guys are bad. See I have been riding a Piemond Red R1150R for 5 years now and still loves it. But after reading so much about you guys experiences on the 1200 versions, I'd bite the bullet today and put in a down payment for a unit to be delivered in September. I did have a hard time deciding wh...
