Headlight dies when turning bars to left

Pretty much as it says really. Anyone had the same problem? Sorry if this problem has been posted previously. Help / suggestions appreciated.

cheers Chris, I think I will pop over to hexham on friday. Theres a garage that does all bmw stuff, one of the mechanics is a dab hand with bikes too. motoworks did the pump for £50, secondhand, I remembered to get the o ring too.

Thanks for that Boxermania. Hope you are correct! Ive just ordered a fuel pump, plus the fuel filter (£50 second hand or £200+ for a new one) Might have a go at doing the job myself. Is it a difficult job? I can do the oil changes, and even managed to fit some new brake hoses. Do I need a new ...

Went to work today on the bike, thought i would take a chance. No problems apart from things not sounding correct in the 'wurring' dept.

This is a non abs 2001 R

Had a chat with a mate who knows about these things, he reckons its the fuel pump.

Here is the story, Out on Northumberlands finest road the A696 this afternoon. Gave the bike very good thrashing, trying to keep up with pals on GS1200's and a K1200r. clocks going wrong

Hi,
Has anyone had problems with the the clock? Mine is loosing time quite badly. Can you replace just the clock or is it part of the whole speedo / tacho setup?
On the positive side I had another hour or so on the bike.
