Re: Something to worry about?

Mine did exactly the same thing, started at 24K miles. Never seemed like much to worry about, but had dealer check (and document that I had them check) at 24k service, and again at around 35-36K. At 40K, the leak got worse and diagnosis was rear main seal. Replaced under warranty since I had the ser...

Re: Parts/pieces you wish you had, but no one makes

I am joining this a bit late, but my wish item is a passenger backrest that can be mounted if you have a givi toprack plate installed. I have a topcase with backrest, but the backrest juts out far enough to eliminate part of the seat for the pillion. I have seen backrests from RCU, Pirates Lair, etc...

I know of someone who had a welder shorten the center stand for that reason - too hard to get the bike up on it.

I like my Nelson Rigg, but always to remember to lift it straight up. I don't want to hijack the thread but I'm trying to locate just a clear map holder that's magnetically attached to the tank. If anybody has a line on one of those, I'd appreciate it. I think that Roadgear makes one. BMW of Santa ...

Jesse Bags

Hi all, wondering if anyone has Jesse Bags on a 2002+ R bike. I am curious to see photos from different angles, and your comments on the installation and on the bags in general.

Thank you!

I'm curious what the "billable hours" are for the 12K and for the annual service. Anyone know?

Well howdy, LionLady!
I bought the blue one as well - works great, and I put in in my tool bag in the right case.

I also keep a phone card stashed in there, just in case.

Well, I think we have a draw. Good feedback, thanks for the comments. Still not sure which I will try first, but I know I will try each and see what I think.

Thanks again!

Z6 versus Pilot Road Tire Comparison

Hi all - I am relatively new to this board, but it seems I can rely on getting some good feedback. I am looking to replace my OEM tires (Bridgestones). I have a 2004 1150R, purchased new May 2005, I've put on over 8K miles. This is my first time replacing tires. I've heard good things about both the...
