Not sure if they're exactly the same headlights (I think they are), but I've had 100w high beam bulbs since day one on both of my R1150GS's. The '01 went 124K without a problem. The '04 is now at 70-something thousand and counting. Burned out one bulb in each bike. Stock low beams were never touched...
