well i guess the point was trying to make was . when it was on my dime
i had to buy the whole assembly . how its on there dime its just the ring
they are replacing . and about the refund the letter says they may .

back before the recall if you found out you had a leak . the fix was to replace the whole
pump assembly (big bucks ) . went i order mind i just ordered online from dealer .didn't
give a serial number just ordered by year make and model . it went in without a problem .

Saddlebags

went to the store noticed the lid was loose on the saddlebag . after checking the hinge
found that two screws were missing and the rest were loose . so it might be a good
to check yours out .

yes i was talking about the fuel flange pump assemble . just passing along
the abs pump goes for 2000.00 but was able to buy one at a good price by shopping around .

well it looks like if you shop around there are deals to be had .
cause i was also able to buy the abs pump new for 850.00 . you
just got to keep checking the web sites of all the bmw dealers

sorry you though i was talking of the flange only . your right it come as
assemble with pump . i was also wrong about the price it was 350.00 .

what you were talking about were the fuel line comes out of the flange. it looks like its a nut but its just cased that way . right on the edge of what looks like nut cracked almost need a magnifying glass to see . how i caught mine was i went for a ride when i got home and parked the bike . there w...

well i might be the only one but mine failed at 47000 miles .
it was about 300.00 to fix with labor . but i see now that beemer
boneyard sells a fix for this problem .

if turns out to be the fuel pump i have one .
the flange on my bike cracked so had to replace
the hole assembly . so my pump is good . might
help you out .

late to the party . but i did have sudden failure on r1200r . i stopped for gas when i tried to restart the bike . the lights came on but it would not start total dead . though it was the ews ? ring took it to the dealer . the battery was dead . so they do dead suddenly . second battery working but ...

more seat options

when to the bmwnef meeting sunday . found out that sargent is going
to make a seat for the r1200r . not just a recover. they are using a
bike from the club for a prototype .
