Would removing the charcoal can read as a fault?

I get a orange triangle and a engine icon foe then seconds right before I start up.

It does not stay on or come on when riding.

Any ideas before I take it to the dealer?

Bike is a 2014 with 4000 mi.

All I have is a post card from my dealer.MAX BMW about the battery and the wed site, put ion your vin to see any open recalls, otherwise caller your shop.

There is an open BMW recall on some AGM batteries.check bmwmotorcycles.com/recall
