Senter stand when you have ridden the heck out of it..... :lol: Hhehehe.....No seriuse,every time you park the bike use the senter stand. [-X This will get the oil down to the bottom of the engine,and will not stop on the left side of the engine head... ITS WORK FOR ME...........My oil consumtion ha...

Is it realy 270$....Will rip of a lot more in Norway,will find that out to day.....expensive rattle.

This is a common NOT a problem on this R bikes......"light knock on the left side at Idle, but seems to dissapear when you give it throttle." It is the LEFT air spjeld/valve(Dont no the eng.word) Place your hand behind the air intake on the left side and gentle squees it...the NOCKING will...

When I hit the front brake. does the back brake engage, as well?.............Yes it does. you are using the rear brake also,this will keep your bike more stabel during braking. So is there any need to even use the rear brake pedal when using the front brakes?........Personal opinion on this question...

Its a prittyer and more modern bike that will serve you nice.....the 850 have a more revier engine,you have to drive it a bit sportier.

And whats wrong with a rebuilt tranny..?

Mine to is a bit dodgy...goes up a bit on revs.but slide a bit down when start driving.
But thats OK you dont need it while driving..

And the reason for that is,Fuse going when you ride at night..total darknes appear.

But loose the "power" on the low-beam....Look like a old "Lucas" head light....at night.. WHY did I loose low beam power......It is good light on BMW I dont need to destroy it--- Full beam is OK. I have to take it off again,because it whas good light on the bike...but not after I...

Hey Dan. Why not use a BMW "tank" bag I dont now if a 17"mac will fit,put you will get all the heavy material in front of you,and when you arrive at next stop you just grab the bag and walk away to work...... Have one on my bike,its perfekt.. And if you need any Qulity improvment on y...

Which battery do you have installed on your bike....

It need a lot of power to cranck that engine..........

Have still my original battery on my 2001 RR.

Got that on my bike....it whas a warning for rear bulb failure...

Bad connection,and now all is OK.


Good luck trouble shooting your problem.

Malfunction on the (Hibeam) head light....It whas caused of a broken WHITE main cable from the left hibeam controlunit on the stearing ...
The broken cable whas gone off in front of the petrol tank...


Any one else experience this on their bikes...
