Re: Help me diagnose my windshield problem
I lopped 1.5 inches from my Cee Bailey 16". I was initially inclined to go only one inch. But I surmise that getting rid of the "flip" is a good idea. So, I went another .5 inch. We'll see what the results are this weekend.

Re: Did anyone ever buy the Wudo ---- fairing?
IMHO It's gorgeous! I really want one. However, I today received a price quote from Wudo: € 399 for the fairing € 189 to paint it black € 59 shipping to US 3% fee on my credit card for international transaction is $27. At today's exchange total cost is that's $938. Yikes. The Wunderlich is $799 plus...

Help me diagnose my windshield problem
I'm running a Cee Bailey's 16". The airstream is flowing just over the top of my head with lots of noise and turbulence. Yesterday, while traveling about 50 mph, I stood up on the pegs to stretch my legs and I found incredibly smooth and quiet air. In light of that experience, I have three thou...

Service indicator on again. wtf?
A few weeks ago my SERVICE indicator came on. Next service due in 3300 miles. The dealer plugged in and reset the system three times before the indicator finally turned off. Well, it's on again! Is there a way I can reset it myself? Should I try another dealer?

My dealer forgot to reset the lcd service indicator at the 600 mile service. Can I reset it myself or must I go back to the dealer?

Re: R1200R Front and Rear Brakes
The pedal is rear brake only.
The hand lever is front and rear equally.
Damn, they sure work well!

Re: What do you think of mounting a stebel horn.....
I'm hesitant to make any engine mods, i.e., removing the canister. What would I gain by doing so, other than a big place to mount a Stebel?

Are you guys sending your bikes to across the pond here, or taking EU delivery of new machines and riding? Or is there a tour company I need to look into? Wow. http://www.edelweissbike.com Edelweiss has a lot of nearly new bikes for their tours. The R1200R I rode had 1400km (840 miles) on the odome...

Edelweiss tour - 8 days on an R1200R
8 days, 1300 miles, 5 countries on an R1200R. What a bike! I previously owned a 2003 R1150RA which BMW took back after my dealer was unable to cure a lot of surging and stalling. The 1200 is an entirely different bike. I must have one now! Anyone want to buy a 2007 Goldwing airbag model with <500 mi...
