Dunno if this is what you really want, but, if you want a minimalist look and take off the whole speedo/rev.counter, clock assembly, you can set up a trip computer for a push bike to give you a very accurate, digital speedometer, trip meter, etc. I fitted one for a while on my R850R, purely to work...
