Lone Star is one of the best things about living in Austin and riding in the Hill Country. And apparently my opinion is not unique: They were voted the Best European Motorcycle Dealership in Texas by Ride Texas magazine for the 6th year in a row. I have a buddy who gets his GT serviced at North Dal...

Bummer. I must be living right. That or my dealer comped the first service in light of my having spent a lot of money there over the last few years. Still, that's a hundred bucks more than I would have paid if I had paid anything. I've never heard anything but good about Lone Star BMW - have lots o...

I wonder if I can get an R12R special-ordered in pink or some such other girlie color... as much as my SO threatens to run out with my current hooligan bike, I'm afraid what would happen if/when we get an R12R...

From the initial sound of it, the R12R doesn't sound like it'd be that much different than my naked SV in the wind... I'm a naked-bike fanatic, so I'll deal with wind over a fully-faired bike. Smartest choice? Depends who you are and what you like LOL I'm just weird like that, I guess. Can't wait fo...

Agreed! I am brand-new to this board, and a fairly recent BMW convert, this site looks very well put-together and informative. I look forward to learning a lot and hopefully providing some information to others along the way!
