Last time I cruised for an extended stretch I averaged 40 mpg. This with the sport screen, sport exhaust, tank bag, Technic saddlebags, and 65mph driving E. into a 20 mph avg., S.E.. wind, one-up.(200#, 5'8") semi aggresive riding style, semi hilly, then flat Hoosier 2 lane roads. My '85 R80RT ...

Motorrad Elektrik Starters
Has anyone used one of the Mitsubishi Starters that Alabama's Motorrad Elektrik sells in place of the junk French Valeo starters on an R1150R Rockster? How did they perform? They are alittle pricey but sound like the way to go, Appreciate any info on this, Thanx!

Starter Woes
I have an R1150R Rockster and at 17000 miles one of two bolt tabs holding the starter to the bike broke alowing the starter to get into the clutch splines. I found another starter on E-bay but after recieving it from a bike shop in Ohio found it to had a broke off bolt tab. This is on the French(?!)...
