Re: Quick Disconnects -GIT-R-DONE

These are the QDs that I put on and am very happy. I did replace the fuel line with Goodyear fuel injection hose in 5/16ths that is SAE30R9 and 7.9mm. I spoke with a rep at Jiffy-tite and was impressed with the engineering of the pieces. Last ones Ill buy and first ones Id buy again.

I use the Accutire gauge as well. Love it as it was a gift from my lady. Works well for getting around afore mentioned hot ass rotors.

Re: Did I break the Quick Disconnect?

Of course it broke...thats what I said the day I broke my lurvly QD the same way. I was wanting to run my Motolight wires super clean under the tank and at a cool $75 bucks later I did. I replaced the OEM with the Jiffy-tite QDs and replaced all fuel line outside the tank while I was at it. Remove t...

Re: Fuel Line Quick Disconnect Upgrade

Well, John..I just finished installing these due to such a high rate of success. Did lots of research and even contacted the racerparts guys for any info they may have. Talked to a Josh I believe and he said he sells alot for BMW motorcycles and said has heard of no issues. He said even racecars use...

Re: Motolight install question...

Make that 10amp. Could someone verify that the 7th fuse from the port side is indeed the heated grips and that it infact, should be 10 amp. Kinda confused.

Re: Motolight install question...

That is what Ill use then. Its a 7.5 amp from what I can tell. Cant find a fuse diagram on the bike. Kinda weird. Not one in the Clymers either.

Newbie in the ranks.

Lurking has to stop. Have enjoyed this sight for awhile now and decided to make the first step. 3 weeks ago I found my first modern BMW love toy in the form of a 2004 R1150R. Madness came over me and I purchased this fine, well taken care for and spec'ed out machine. Makes my R65 seem like a Radio F...
