NIce bike! that is a cool color scheme. regarding a windscreen, I had the same thoughts when I first purchased mine, and ended up buying a Wunderlich Trimm windscreen. Thanks for all the input guys. I think i will be changing the FD fluid back to a 75w90 and continue to use 75w140 synthetic in the tranny.

From my reading I wouldn't under any circumstances put synthetic in the final drive, NOW this is just my opinion and it is based only on what I have read (and that is a lot) mnn What is wrong with putting synthetic in the final drive? If the fuel filter is partially clogged, you can try to put some Seafoam in the tank. It will also clean your injectors

I just did both fluids on my 04 rockster and have put about 60 mile on it. It seems to shift better, and no slips. What fluid did you use? I put Mobil 1 75w140 in both.

The rockster handlebars are lower, and wider than the other r1150r's. I would like that little bit more upright position. Would anyone like to trade with me? I am in northern VA. I can ship too. Mobil 1 "LS" 75w 140 < ok to use in my tranny?
I went to the auto parts store to get my fluids for my rockster and the only synthetic 75w140 they had was Mobil 1 with "LS" on the bottle. I am assuming I can use it, but am curious if there is an additive in it for limited slip that would not be a good idea to introduce to my transmissio...
