Just sold my showroom condition Atlanta Blue 02 with ABS and tons of accessories for $6500. (I bought a K1200S that I'm outfitting for touring) I was very sad to part with my beauty. We had bonded long ago but the K is amazing!

Looks great. So why pay the $3000 premium for a GT with a tuned down engine? One could easilt add a larger shield, barbacks, bags and a bunch of other comform accesories for about that. Is there something I am missing that is on the GT?

Mine are mounted to the plastic under the oil coolers. I suspect that the vibration is not as intense as it is if mounted to metal. 18 months is about right and I leave the switch on day and night.
