Re: OEM Brake Lines/I need to hear you again please.
Oh - FWIW if you're replacing the lines - I'd HIGHLY recommend swapping to a simple 2-line setup. 1 line for each caliper travelling directly from the master cylinder to each caliper. front tyre is wearing normally,
rear tire is pretty close to being gone.

Weave on acceleration
I am getting a gentle weave when i accelerate hard from a standstill. The bike gently goes into a side to side slalom and then settles down. This happens only on hard acceleration. Has anyone experiened this?
Inhave checked the bearings and they are good. Any ideas?

ABS thoughts and removal
I absolutely loved my ABS R1150R. Then one day i almost ended up under a truck due to residual braking. for those of you that have had the experience will know the horror. For those that haven't had the pleasure ... hope you never do. I found the culprit to the failure. A bad battery and a fluid cha...

Re: R1150R - Abs problem
Just a quick update. Since my last post I have not had any issues with the ABS system.
I am now convinced that it was a combination of
loosed banjo fittings around the braking system
bad brake fluid
and last a
bad battery.
Hope this helps someone else.

Re: R1150R - Abs problem
I had the same problem for a long time. Exacly the same scenario as described. The battery is a possible foult but not very likely. I replaced mine twice but the probelem kept coimng back. I then took the bike in for service and had all the pressure sensor checked on the ABS unit. One of them was re...

Are there any reasons not to use the accessory power port for a battery maintenance plug in port?
