Thanks Arbrea.... yeah, my BMW guy said the same thing...that sometimes the ties are tied too tight at the factory... I haven't checked it, but he has... no avail.

My 2004 r1150r may, or may not, have a Hall sensor issue. I've brought it into my trusty repair guy (not a BMW dealer, but pretty much only works on BMWs), and he's stumped. I have the typical symptoms... sometimes it just starts right up, the rpms sometimes go all wonky, and other times it runs jus...

Here's a somewhat bizarre question... yesterdray, had my wheels off to replace the tires (new Metzler Z6's)... Yeah...thanks for the tips...much appreciated.... all good methods and I was thinking the same thing about securing the stand...it's been a concern, but to know others have done it....I'm feeling the comfort...
