Ok, now the photos...i'm a math teacher so some statistics for anyone interested. 15 day trip, total 4600 miles...5 day layover in beautiful Colorado. ave. miles per day taking out 5 day layovers, about 420 miles per day...2nd longest day across the Nevada desert to Carson City, 560 miles about 12 h...

:shock: Been riding about 2 weeks now on this great R1150R...and something verrrry strange is happening...HD riders are waving. Strange. They never waved at me on my KLR650. Anyone have any explanations?!? :? Took her down to the Indian Res. yesterday to play a little Tx Hold'em, NL...this thing mus...

I just got the same bike man and love it! May be the last bike i ever get. Congrats! One suggestion...i hadn't ridden since my 20's, then got the fever again in my 40's...i'm glad it wasn't THIS bike first...it was another, but point is... i dropped the bike about 6-7 times before i got used to it.....

One reason to OCCASIONALLY use the kill switch is so you'll automatically know HOW to use it in an emergency, and to know where it is, and just to THINK of it in an emergency. I used key for many years, never using the kill switch...then one day on the 650GS i went down and couldn't get to the key.....
