Another exhaust question

Hey all,
Pulled the catalytic converter and installed a sebring Y pipe. It of course back fires (I'm waiting on new exhaust clamps in the mail). My question is;
Any idea if I will encounter any problems mounting a staintune exhaust system to the sebring Y pipe?

Thanx

Re: Been back to look at that Rockster, Riceburner. Quick Po

Ah, you must have the gift of tongues Riceburner. I went back to look again at the Rockster. It is one funky looking gargoyle and I still covet it, whatever I have read. Any chance you guys could jot down the following to assist in my decision? Bike model & year (Rocksters only) Mileage FSH or ...

Staintune Exhaust (A question, not beating a dead horse)

Just ordered up a Staintune Exhaust System and am wondering (hoping) the clamps come with the gear. I'm 210 miles from the closest dealership and will have to mail order said clamps if they are not provided with the pipe.

Thanks in advance

Nick,
All Matte, I used 8 coats of "Bumper guard", prepped the surfaces with Bulldog. I took some rocks off a gravel truck last week and no dings.

Tony; I have already decided "hands off" on the braking system. At the mighty age of 40 I've decided there are a few things I can now afford to have a master tech work on; that thing will be the ABS. I do love it though. It really does stop in a hurry, doesn't it. I purchased a non ABS ro...

Peeled Rock

Thanks for all those who left comments. Has anyone peeled the stripes and then regretted it? Would you buy one which has been professionally painted? Would a painted one be worth the same, or less? Thanks I peeled mine and painted her out, she looks great (see pics a few posts down under intro). I ...

Nice. I 'll go matte black for the valve covers myself, maybe it will cover up the gouges from dumping her last year :D

What can I say, I like black bikes. The valve covers will be getting a shot a black soon and I'm debating painting out the rims, she will kinda look like a wingless Stealth Bomber :D

Bad time for me to read your post, since I'm in NJ and haven't been on the bike in 3 months for one reason or another and you guys in the south and CA riding all the time, but good for you. I have an 03 rock and since I like to go long distances (Key West, NC, St Louis) I needed to make some change...

Hi all, I've been reading this board for a year or so and finally registered:) Great site by the way. Anyway, I'm from Pensacola, Florida and have been riding my Rock since 2004. I also have a 1971 75/5 in the garage, I love boxers. The Rockster is my tried and true daily rider (I don't own a car) r...
