I've had the pleasure/pain to live in various locations that have had laws that permit freedom of choice, and the G W Bush view of life: A police state of rules and regulations that discorage anything other than their acceptable norm. Sorry you don't approve of what I want to do, never mind it has n...

Thanks, very interesting. Esspecially the stat that sans helmet decreased the fatality rate. Freedom of choice should rule!

Uneven tire wear

I have 29k on my 02. I bought it lightly used with 1711 miles on it. From that day to now the front sneaker has worn more on left side of center than on right. The bike handles fine, but it does dive better into a left than a right. I can tighten the wrist rest and ride with no hands, so it seems li...

CLUTCH FAILURE

I was on a trip with 3 friends today and my clutch started operating oddly. At first it seemed to just be a little sensitive, (grabby/no feel). Then we came upon consruction trafic and the clutch/engine wouldn't disengage. The clutch fluid apeared to be burnt, but we deceided that it smelled like 90...

The clutch that bleeds

I've changed the clutch fluid twice. Once without the bleed fitting and once with. Either way that task is a pain in the ass!!!!!!!!!! To get a fitting go to Bob's BMW on the net. It's one of the best places to get BMW stuff. Nice, informed, and helpful staff.

BARBER VINTAGE MUSEUM

I JUST VISITED BARBER MOTORSPORTS IN BIRMINGHAM ALABAMA. I DON'T HAVE THE WORDS TO EXPRESS HOW INCREDIBLY COOL THIS PLACE IS. IT MUST BE THE LARGEST COLLECTION OF BIKES ANYWHERE. IT CERTAINLY DESERVES TO BE ON EVERYONES LIST OF THINGS TO DO. IT'S ON MINE TO DO AGAIN.

SWITCH IT

THE SWITCH SIMPLY NEEDS TO BE SHORTED OR JUMPED BY WIRING THE TO LEADS, (WIRES GOING TO THE SWITCH),TOGETHER. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WOULD WANT TO DO THIS BUT, THERE YOU HAVE IT.
