STOP IT!
Dave,
you just posted an image of my dream bike........ and I didn't even know what it looked like before opening your thread! I've been in love with the Ariel Square 4 ever since I saw the engine out of the bike..... just sitting there on the garage floor. Sooooo voluptuous, soooo Deco, soooo sexy in a COOL way! But stuck in a Bobber like that!!!!!!!
I can't contribute a danm thing, Ariel and Trumpet Bobbers....... ohmygod!
If ever I EVER had "extra" money, I would easily spend whatever it would take to make my own Bobber out of a Square 4!
(gotta go back and study those images again.......!)

Both of those bikes look great.
That Ariel must sound incredible.
I'll contribute, but not to the pretty side of the arguement. I would put this bike in the interestingcategory. (They were fun to ride for a 14 year old!)

Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.

Call me crazy, call me a fool...... but I've always liked clean choppers
with Japanese four bangers. I'm one of those folk who really liked the
Harmon frames & front ends.
That Kawasaki engine is magnificent!
You know, "extra" money and all..... I'd also have a CBX 6 cyl. bobber,
chopper, or sexy street menace. The problem comes into play with my
desire to show a 6 into 6 pipe configuration.
Hoochie, yes I said it, MAMA!
Nice shot of a classic engine Dave.
I don't understand my fascination for Panheads though.....
always loved 'em; got anything with a sexy or clean Panhead?

Darth...
Well, Darth...
You know what I really want is your Norton!!! I just have to get up there to see it... but that looks like it may be a bit...
Still, once I add a true mega-miler sport-touring mount to the stable (ala FJR-1300, etc.) then I want to do something along these lines to my R-1150-R:
Nothing with a "Rockster" headlight, but I do *LOVE* the McLaren Pumpkin Orange... A color I have been thinking of for an R-1150-R for a long time. I've got one of those Laser HotCam exhaust set-ups hangine in the garage, so that's done... Pull the motor, lighten up the flywheels and balance the crank, drop in some cams, higher-compression pistons, have the heads ported by a buddy, billet Wunderlich cam covers, Ohlins or Wilbers at both ends (a tad taller, too...), some six-piston front calipers and some wave-style rotors, engine case done in a medium gunmetal, cylinders silver, frame in another shade of gunmetal or medium silver, wheels done in a medium to dark blue(ala the trim on the late 60's McLaren Can-Am cars...), true "gumball" road race rubber, some subtle blue pin-striping, San Jose airbox mod, etc....
Sort of a "Hoochie Mama" Beemer "street fighter" concept for riding around town and apex strafing up around the lake... Maybe and occasional "trailer trip" up to buzz the roads in the Hill Country, etc.
You get the idea...
Cheers!
