Cycle gear says all snell helmets have same impact absorption

I bought my RPHA 10 PRO (and HJC product) because it had the most peripheral vision.
I'm curious to know if there's a shock absorbency rating on helmets?
I know on boxing headgears, the top ten brand uses bayflex padding which is far more absorbent than other brands.
Is cycle gear correct in that all snell helmets absorb the same degree of impact or do some withstand more than others?
