What a great day in New England!

Post by Photoguy »

Not too much of ride by most standards, but with a day off of work and with not too much to do, it was just perfect for me. 65 degrees, sunny and the local foliage just starting to turn. A quick trip through Newburyport, MA, here's hoping your day was a good as mine!

Plus it gives me an opportunity to post a picture of my bike!!

It was a great day! Was gonna go for a ride but the other rider also has a boat. Spent it on the water and tied up near a few watering holes. Yuengling fueled the moment.

Mark-
Funny you would mention a boat...my little trip was to check on mine and start to get it ready to take out of the water. Ended up going for a short ride myself just to get some stabalized gas into the outboard.

If a person wanted to catch the fall foliage at peak in that area, what week would be best? Last of September? First week October? With a board name of Photoguy, I'm hoping for a ride report with lots of photos of the colors turning. Thanks.

Life *is* good Den...I'm fortunate that I get a fair amount of time to ride.

Gypsy-We're coming into peak foliage right now in northern n.e and moderate color here closer to Boston.

My screen name is based on my profession...almost ashamed to say that I take very few pictures for pleasure...kind of like the cobbler and his shoes I guess

Here's the only *tree* picture i've ever taken. You'll have to use your imagination to add the colors!!
