Excellent film (didn't hear the music yet).

Could you tell us roughly where it was filmed please? I fancy working some of that into my next French trip.

Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan

The road in the video is the D929 betwen St Lary-Soulan and the Bielsa Tunnel.

You will find this road by following the A64 to Junction 16 near Lannemezan.

The border with Spain is in the middle of the Bielsa Tunnel, the scenery on the Spanish side changes quite dramatically as the landscape is more arid and rugged.

This was our second trip to the area and we found St Lary-Soulan an excellant place to stay, lots do do and see and a good choice of eats.
The town is a ski resort but they are working hard to make it a summer for venue mountain biking, walking, rock climbing, white water rafting and all sorts of mad sports. We took the cable car up to the ski station and were flown back down by parapente, will definitely to do it again.

Glad you enjoyed our video,

Very nice video! =D> I have wanted to ride in Europe since I started riding, longer than I care to admit. It will have to wait until those college bills quit coming now!

Liked the hang gliding vid too!

Hi Joe
Glad to hear the vid brought back those good times. Last year we continued on down the Spanish side of this route on our way to get the ferry at Bilbao. Apart from the mountains one of the most amazing sights was the turquoise lake between Ainsa and Barbastro.
