Ok, I prolly need a new battery. (it's only been 4.7 years) I don't want to change my charger and i don't like the price of the odyssey.

No.. . . any other quality options?
I have the Odyssey and it is noticeably powerful on frigid cold starts. You will not need a charger for 3 months of inactivity, even if you do not remove the Motronic & clock fuses (which would help).
All other choices will get you less cranking power and a shorter than 8 yr service live. My advice: sacrifice somewhere else for what will be a much better investment for a higher performance, more abuse tolerant battery. Especially if you plan on keeping the bike. Even a year from now if you sell the bike, you'll still be able to trade +$10 with a local member whose stock battery is where yours is now.
You could even turn your bike off with the KS or sidestand and still start it 2 hours later, without harming the battery much - - - although I do not recommend it.
Scott, get the Odyssey and when the May Bash comes around, you can thank me in person.

http://www.batteryplex.com/odyssey-deta ... odel=PC680 It's only around $20 more than an SLA and the thing cranks in just obscene temps. Actually that price has come down since I bought mine. I paid around $130 shipped about 6 months ago.
If your a fair weather rider then I can understand why you'd be reluctant. If your someone that will ride whenever the road conditions are agreeable to two wheels, the Odessey is what you should get...IMO.

I stumbled on this and just had to add it as justification for the premium cost.

My L brackets came with the battery without my asking for them. Just like with the previous WestCo maintenance free battery, I had to straighten out the terminal tabs a little for a smooth fit.
