I bought my R back in April and posted a few questions about lowering it - at 5'2" I couldn't get both feet on the ground at the same time.

Last week I installed new Works shocks which lowered it about an inch and a Wunderlich low seat (another inch) and can finally get both feet on the ground at the same time. The Works shocks have improved the handling although I seem to find the pegs on corners more frequently. I chopped off the end of the side stand when I put on the new shocks and my husband fabricated a new foot for it out of a piece of 1/2 inch nylon.

I love my R! So if any height challenged folks are out here encourage them to consider an R - lowering it is very easy. Loree :D
