Merry Christmas 2022!

I know there is a bit less attendance on this board then in days past but there are still a great number of 1150's on the road. And it still seems like one of the easiest BMW's to own and maintain. I'm quickly approaching 68 and I've been riding BMW's since '01/03. I started a bit late in my riding career but I've found it hard to find a better bike. BMW's are not perfect but they do seem to tick all the boxes for me.
I've found many friends on this site, many I've had the honor to meet face to face and ride with. Many more that I hope to meet in the future. I've come through a couple of fairly serious health challenges since I was introduced to this board in 2003. I know many lifted a few prayers on my behalf in 2010 when I came close to leaving this world because of Guillian Barre Syndrome. Near a year in hospitals and 3 years to learn to ride again. One of my biggest motivations to work hard and get stronger was my desire to get back on my '04 R1150R. Just simply had to ride again. And since that time I've managed to roll an additional 80,000 miles. And along the way I've shared a little bit of that journey here. Well enough of my rambling. I need to get ready to go to some more P/T at my local hospital. Still dealing with residuals from breaking my right leg (on the bike) in 2020. Did the left in 2008.
I'd like to wish all a very Merry Christmas! And hope to see you in 2023!
