Sorry to hear that. The roads around Mohican are not as good as around Hungry Mother. :P

I may be able to talk my stepfather and his R12GS into this one...

Let me get back to you!

If he agrees, that would be me on my R1150R and him on his R12GS

Just be sure to pay Jeff or the site owner before arriving... be a shame to arrive and have no where to pitch a tent.

It looks like I am in! My oldest son called this morning and told us he is to report to Bagdad International the week after HM for leave. The youngest goes back to college early this year, so the decks are cleared. I hated missing last year and very much look forward to the return this year! :D

I am willing to share a site, if you can take the noise! Probably arrive Friday or maybe Thursday night.

Anyone headed to Hungry Mother from the Phila area (or points further north) interested in linking up for the ride down?

From Philly, it's about 450 miles via slab. Haven't worked out a route yet but my initial thought is a combination of slab and 2 lane. Maybe interstates to the Shenandoahs, then some 2 lanes down to Staunton and a final dash on the interstate to Marion.

Open to any suggestions though.

I really want to do this, but I'm not sure my work schedule will allow it. I may be close to the area for work travel though. I've been thinking about takign the bike for my work trip... 8)

Well, commitments are strong. You committed to US when we were in PA this spring, to attend HMSPRRV. Hmphf!

400 miles is an easy roll up I-77. I can even join you up to I-70(maybe even US 36).

How about a paid-up listing and instructions for those who are not paid up - like how to reserve a site from a current 'owner' and such? What do we do with those who show up but have paid no one? Toss 'em away?

For the record - Camfarm 'owns' one site (and a presumed share of 1/4 of another site). I have agreed to share with Challey (who will pay me directly on arrival). If I arrive Thursday and bogart a walk-in site, then I can 'sell' my spaces to others for cost.

Right Jeff?

How much is a space? If I do come, it'll be a last minute decision(and because Mike guilted me into it ;) ) Will there be a site available to camp?

My stepfather cannot make it...

I am still toying with the idea, myself.

Johnny,

I will guarantee you a space for $13 per night. Show up if you can and bring a small tent!
