Frozennorth's Beakster shirt! - ITS A GO! Please pay asap!

Post by Doug »

This is a poll to gauge interest in the beakster shirt Frozennorth put together.

If we can get some quantity, we can probably drive the price to $15 with maybe $5 added for shipping. For more info and pictures of the shirt, see this thread:
http://r1150r.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=6960

The new shirt would look the same, but perhaps have the r1150r.net address added.. (I'm assuming thats ok with frozennorth!)

UPDATE BELOW:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, here we go! We are close enough to the 50 shirt mark that its a go ahead. Pricing is as follows:
  • The shirts will cost $18 plus $8 for shipping (US and AUS) ($10 to Canada and $15 for everwhere else). Please add $4 extra for shipping for each additional shirt you order (For example: two shirts (for people in the US) would be $48 total).
Payment will be received via paypal. Note that I have TWO paypal addresses, please read carefully and choose the correct one (Ifyou dont have to use a credit card, using the albany.net account alleviates a 4% paypal fee):
http://www.paypal.com BTW, if possible, please avoid using eChecks as they take a long time to clear..

Important! Please make sure that you let me know in your paypal note section what size you want. Additionally, we will be using the address from your paypal account so please verfiy that it is correct.

Thanks for everyone's speedy payment so we can get this order in before Frozennorth leaves for vacation in a week or so. Let me know if you have any questions.

Ps - For the ladies out there, there are women's shirts available. Fruit of the Loom, Just For Her in women's sizing. They have a nicer collar and the sleeves look like they are a little further inset (Picture coming maybe).
pps- All of the shirts are Fruit of the Loom, Heavy, preshrunk, 100% Cotton quality shirts!
Ppps - Men's sizing: Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL. Please note that we need to order at least 2 in each size. As a gauge, I am 5.10", 38 or 40 regular jacket, and I fit a medium or a large.

Re: Frozennorth's Beakster shirt! - Gauging interest in orde

Post by Doug »

We have an update! :D

FrozenNorth did some legwork and it looks like there is a pricebreak at 50 shirts. The shirts will cost $18 plus $8 for shipping (US and AUS) ($10 to Canada and $15 for everwhere else). We are almost there at about 39 shirts. Can we get 10 more interested parties??? If we dont make the price break, the shirts will cost $20.

The way we will handle payment is people will paypal the money to me (shirt plus shipping) with a note stating what size they want and then when the bulk sum is ready, I will send it to FrozenNorth and the shirts will be made. FrozenNorth will then ship the shirts out.

Thanks for everyone's efforts! Please post a message here (or if you're shy, send me a PM :) ) if you are interested in a shirt.

We got a new price update - $16 per shirt plus applicable shipping costs.

It looks like we can hit the 50 shirt mark - I'll buy a few extra to meet the goal if we have to.

So any other takers at $16 a shirt? We'll let this go a few more days then build the order and collect funds. Ill post payment details later.
