When I returned to motorcycling about 10 years ago with the purchase of my first ever BMW (a 2004 1150RT) I sought guidance, encouragement, humour and knowledge from this forum as I went about doing my own scheduled maintenance – and I appreciated it. The 1150 is long gone but I can still remember some user names: a shout out to Towerworker, Cyclerob, Riceburner.
I accumulated a stock of consumable parts and a few specialised tools for the 1150 RT and would now like to pass what remains on to someone in a similar position – has an 1150 oilhead (R, RT, or Rockster) and is doing their own scheduled maintenance. If they pay the cost of postage (from Australia!) they can have the lot. An estimate of the postage cost from Vincentia, Australia to USA is $87.20 Australian or around $56 US. Other destinations could be calculated if need be. The total value of the parts/tools vastly exceeds these postage costs.
Please PM me.

What are you riding?
Re: In appreciation
I'm riding a 2015 R1200RT so thought it was about time to rehome my 2004 oilhead (sold in 2012) parts & tools.
The thought to do so was triggered by a particularly generous act by a member of another forum I frequent.
I'd been looking for an OEM pillion seat for my 2015 RT for about a year, without success, to send to Russell Saddles for an RDL makeover.
When i finally found one the owner asked me what I had to trade. I told him, he said he wasn't interested in what I had but that I could have his seat anyway. Generosity is contagious, so here I am. Maybe Photoguy will catch it too.

Fantastic sentiment! I have done similar in the past. Pass it on as they say.
