I know eyes will roll, but can I get an opinion? Tires.

I need a front tire for my Rockster and this seemed like a good tire for a fair price.

I was hoping to get the Bridgestone T30 tires for my Rockster. Specs are 120/70ZR17 GT58W TL

Just check it out but I'm sure the GT version has a stiffer sidewall and is intended to fully laden tourers. Although no featherweight you don't really need that type of tyre on a Rockster.

FWIW - I usually buy tires at local Cycle Gear to get good deals and cheap mount & balance. Sport touring tires on sale in Rockster sizes are usually a given.

For recommendation, I will defer to the combined tire experiences of kirby and riceburner (how many Rockster tire sets each?)...

10 sets of shinko 009 ravens so far, best bang for the buck in the states. A yokohama tire made in korea. I run 170/60 r 120/70 front. Good for the street even sport riding and I have even had them on one track day and they didn't scare me.
twice the mileage I have ever got from so called premium tire. under $200 a set, I mount and bal myself.

You asked and this is just my experience.

Wow Kirby!! Is this the tire you talked about? (Shinko 009 Raven Radial Tire 120/70ZR17 Front 87-4041)
It seems to be a really good little secret. People love this tire! I read a few reviews and it's a solid performer for a bargain price.

Hello again Sweatmark! Can you send me the link from where you bought your set? That’s a really good price and free shipping! Hard to beat. I can’t find a set for that price and shipping.
