How much wider are the GSA bars? I would be interested in wider bars as well.
What is happening to my skin?
Where is that protection that I needed?

Job allmost completed only have to fit bar ends ,whey are still with the posties.Went for a ride and liked it.I have a feel of much more control on straight roads and around corners and bends.they are about 40mm wider.had to get 22mm to 28mm adaptors witch raised the bars by 20mm .my brake line was 50mm longer so no issues there ,the cluch line just makes it without being taught in any position. The bars fitted on the bike remind me of bull horns ,riding feels like you are holding on to bull horns, but all said i like the feel.Cost second hand bars (like new) $125 aud.adaptors $129aud .

Final update on handle bars .I liked the GSA bars on my R but they were killing my wrist after a while because of being so wide.
So i went back to the drawing board ,my son rides a Yamaha fz6s fazer and i always like his handle bars so i got a pair from the wreckers
and fit them to the R ,they are not as wide as the stock r1200r bars and i used the 1nch bar backs with them .I have them for a month now and am very happy with the result so thats how it is going to stay, vibration even feels less just feel so comfy on the arms, neck and shoulders .Will post photos asap.
ps these bars only cost about $80 new from the dealers.
fitted led light strips to the front shocks running vertical as well for safety ,more about that when i can post photos
Did i mention this is the best bike ever made.Just for the sceptics out there.

Are the GSA handlebars for sale? I've been looking for an inexpensive pair.

Can you measure the width _____, height _____, and pullback as this may be collective solution for most r owners
Thanks

I put handlebars from a BMW F800ST on my R1200R and I love them. Really changed the ergos to something a little more sporty.
