Stock Seat Price

Post by celticus »

What is a good average price to expect from the sale of a good almost perfect 2007 R1200R stock seat?

Heh. AFAIK celticus' seat is still available - the pm I sent wasn't an offer or negotiation to buy.

Really, really $75.00? I have one to sell but think I won't bother if it's that little. Seats are a huge pain to package and send.

I just sold a low seat from an 07 for $150 plus shipping. The shipping was $50 from MT to NJ. That includes $10 for packing materials and insurance. It was sent the cheapest postal rate possible and the buyer had it in five days. So for $200 he had a never used low seat that sells for $429 and I got to put $150 in my pocket and clear shelf where it had been sitting since we bought the bike new. He's happy; I'm happy.

I didn't think there were any famous people in Pittsburgh. :D At least since Willie Stargell quit playing.
