Continental Conti Input

Post by Cohiba54 »

Caught short on my Ozarks ride last month and was in need of a rear tire. Suzuki Yamaha of Hot Springs (good guy's BTW) was the nearest place that had the correct size but not my preferred Michelin Pilot Road 2's or 3's and that was the "Conti".

So far it's been good, haven't notices anything bad so far, appears to track fine with the PR3 front that I put on about 1700 miles ago. I do commute 60 miles round trip, go for my adrenaline run when I can. I know it's sport touring tire not a dual compound like the PR's. So I don't expect to push the curves like normal in wet or dry or at least not until I get some test runs done and build confidence with them.

So what's yall's take on the Conti tire?

It's a budget tyre from a quality manufacturer, so good value & not likely to let you down.

Personally I'm running Road Attack 2 Evo's on my RT, & am thus far impressed, but too soon to say about mileage.
