Oops, Oh No & Ouch

Post by FightNGear Holsters »

Well they say it is not if, but when you will tip one over. I had a slow speed accident today. Clamped the front brake too hard to avoid a rider ahead who stopped suddenly and slipped on some gravel. I guess I grabbed the front brake when the wheel was not straight. Now comes the Gecko and his adjuster. We shall see how friendly they are when the money is flowing the other way. 2003 R1150R that was minty before. Lots of scratched body pieces, brake lever, headlight ring, mirror, windshield. Mostly rock scratches. Was only moving 5-10MPH. Anyone ever deal with the Gecko?

Update. The Geico boys came out today and were very nice. One of them is a Street Glide owner/rider. I am supposed to get an offer Monday. We shall see the true color of the Gecko on Monday.
