R1100R seat storage

I am looking for additional storage on my 1998 R1100R. I have been looking for a change in the passenger seat as I never take a passenger, but one that would let me reinstall the origional seat if I wanted to. I do not want to add much height to the rear seat area so a tail bag etc is out. I see the microfiche shows a radio box for the R1100R but none seem to show up used. The R1100RTP radio box is available from boneyard and fleebay but the base,and lower section are different. What is possible?

You got 2 choices. a) get yourself the radiobox used for police and other officials (and get yourself the parts for mounting the same - look for the part nos at realoem) or b) you build your own stuff. There is nothing available any more from aftermarket manufacturers.
