Handlebars for R1100r

Post by cbashaw »

I recently bought 99 R1100r and I want to change to lower handlebars. I already have some adapters to do this but am having trouble finding any 22mm bars with no rise. I've bought some 7/8th drag bars then found out they will not fit the controls or clamps without sanding them down. Is this the best option, or does anyone make 22mm drag bars?

Thanks

Flanders is probably your best bet;

Another option would be to fit BMW RS "clip-on" style bars.

thanks I think the flanders bars should work for me. I'll have to look into the clip ons they may be a little low, but they would look great.

cbashaw,

Show us the pic when you complete this project. I'm thinking of doing the same to my bike.

I have the BMW-handlebar from LSL, which is the only bar that's suitable for heated grips
