Will GS pegs and mounts fit on the R?

Post by telliott »

Looking to make my R a little more comfortable and make standing up easier. Has anyone used the GS set up on an R? I did a search and couldn't find a thread on this.

Thanks

Are you thinking that it would improve the foot position, such as lowering and moving forward?
That might be a better way (a used setup from salvage) than those expensive lowering kits for the r's.
Would be interested to see if it's possible.

I use the Fastway pegs that a lot of GS people use on their bikes. Great feel and when in dirt or gravel allow me to stand. Heck on the open road I stand to stretch and feel very sure footed.

Yes, that's what I had in mind! But I was hoping I wasn't the first to think of it, wanted to make sure they would fit before making a purchase.
