Thinking about new paint...

Post by sweatmark »

My Edition 80 is aging nicely, more than a dozen years in my ownership, and always a faithful companion. But middle-age flights of fancy are causing me to think about making changes to "keep things fresh", and thus I'm thinking about a respray to cover up the once-white-now-beige tank.

How about this color scheme?

Seriously, this is on Craigslist locally (that's the pic link which will vanish eventually). I'm tempted to witness that paint first hand, though I'm sure it will sell quick!

But seriously, I'm working on the Rockster now in preparation for its sale - to my brother as belated 50th birthday present. I just washed the bike and once again marvel at the perfect form & function of the R1150R. My guess is that I'll sell a remaining bike and get another Rockster someday.
