Saddlebags/Side Cases

Post by jobooth321 »

I've currently got a SW Motech frame and Hepco Becker 40 litre side cases for my Rockster. They're f'n huge and stick way out to the side. I'm looking for something a lot more stylish and smaller.

What do y'all use? Pics?

Here's the Bimmer that got me thinking about it: http://rocket-garage.blogspot.com/2015/ ... mbler.html

Looks nice - but that pannier doesn't look very weather resistant.

Personally I use the BMW OE kit.

Pics? This is my solution, lower the exhaust, than fit the paniers as close as you can to the frame.

The previous post has been awarded Largest Image Attachment for 2015. Congratulations!

But seriously, what cases and subframe are you using? I'm not going to ask about the front fairing.

Thanks for the congrats :) I took the link from an earlier post.

I have used a rack from Touratec for a GS with lowered exhaust.
Unfortunately I can't find it in their latest catalogue (Dutch).

I descibed the conversion here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25656
The links may be outdated.

Maybe I'll win some more large-pic awards
