Hello, from Downunder Sydney Australia.Just bought my 04 White Rock. So my SON and I can have FUN.
Soon as it got here, we jumped on the Rock and off for a 50 klm round trip, What an easy comfortable bike to ride.
Have read most of the posts here, they have helped me understand my bike extensively.
Couple of questions?
1. What are the max revs you can down shift on? (Before you get compression lock up)
2. Mine is an ABS bike, can you tap the rear brake around corners, to give you some understeer.
Cheers FOX,
FUN.

Re: FUN.
Welcome!
Rear brake trailing into a turn is possible and effective. The partial linkage is front to rear only. Rears do wear much more quickly than fronts so watch the pad thickness. ABS threshold for that technique is generous.
Downshifting is a feel and experience matter - never paid any attention to rpm but have frequently done it wrong from 3rd-2nd and 2nd to 1st. No lock up but a nice chirp to remind me to be more mindful.
