Apparently, there are two touring the United States. Saw this one today at Bob's BMW in Jessup, Md. Sportbike weekend is tomorrow and Saturday, so check it out. About 500 in Europe now, according to a salesman. They land here in December. The staff were all a-drool.
I agree, there's blood in the water and they're poised for a feeding frenzy.
I don't see how BMW won't dominate this year, after doing so well on a brand new machine. With the data you speak of and a winter to get it sorted, they should kick ass.
I will feel bad abandoning Noriyuki Haga on the Yamaha, he's been my man for many years... sorry Nori!
