Oldest Beemer Currently Running

Post by GTR350cc »

Who here owns and operates the oldest Beemer? Until 2002 I had a 1974 R60/6. Ran fine. Weak brakes.
I don't mind paying for mistakes. Can I get a discount?

I have a 67 R69S, runs fine looks near new, has never been restored. My dad bought it new.

I have a 1957 R50. The engine is out and I'm rebuilding the entire drive train.

The oldest running BMW will be a 1923 R32. There are still quite a few of them out there and running, not as daily riders though. BMW owns serial number 1001, which is sitting in their museum. I would not be at all surprised if it still runs.
