Rear Drive Plastic Cover

Post by vroomr »

There's a little plastic disc that covers the final drive's pivot, part number 33177674694, and mine has been trying to escape lately. It's held in place by friction, a vanishingly small amount of it in my case, and I can't tell if the shaft on this thing that fits into a recess and is supposed to hold it in place might have once had some rubber or something on it; right now it's just smooth plastic. The part is all of six bucks, and a fix is easy. Just wondering what the thing looked like when it was new.

paste this in your browser, or go to Max BMW parts website and put in part number, nice photos there.
