I have installed lights from Super Bright LED's and I like them. Below is a link. I do not know if they ship to Australia.

Last year I bought a set of LED lights from eBay. I paid about $25 shipped, they were 9 watt each and they used the Epistar brand/type of led. I was/am very happy with the quality. Cast aluminum housing and some sort of very hard and thick plastic lens. They are not DOT legal here in the states (way too bright and no lens pattern) so I pull them when I get the bike inspected and put them back on afterwards. They pull very low current and make my headlight look like a candle by comparison. I don't run them at night unless there is no traffic because they are blinding to oncoming traffic.

I have MotoBozzo lights I bought here http://www.motobozzo.de/product_info.ph ... cts_id=259. They ship to the US and you dont have to pay the VAT. Pretty reasonable price too.

I'm using a set of these mounted on my crash bars (engine protection bars in BMW speak):

Standard wiring thru a relay controlled by a switch on left handlebar.

WARNING: I originally had a set with three LEDs in them that caused an ABS failure (unexpected pulse) at times when I turned them on. I couldn't resolve it and eventually changed the lights (left in all the old wiring), the problem is gone. I gave the lights to a fellow rider to use on his non ABS bike, he's happy and I'm glad to see the problem gone.
